The lodge was designed to accomodate 23 emotionally disturbed boys. Prone to violent outbursts, the boys living at Forest Heights receive personalized care without the use of drugs or other artificial means. The success rate at the Lodge over the years has established it as a model program emulated in many other countries. The design of the new lodge facility provided maximium control and surveillance in a traditional residential setting.
